1/3 Years Old

Well at this rate you all will only hear from us when RyLee reaches another milestone. So just plan on a 6-month, 1-year old, and graduation from high school post. RyLee just had her 4 month check up. Here are the stats: Length 24.5" (70%), Weight 12lb 7oz (25%), Head 40.2 cm (25%). Tall and skinny. In the last 3 days she has learned some new tricks. She finally figured out just how to kick her leg to roll herself over and now she does it every 10 minutes, and tries to flip even when she is sitting in her bouncy chair. Along with her new tummy time she has also learned how to arch her back to hold her head up good when she is on her tummy. Before she would just stare at the carpet.

We tried to give RyLee rice cereal with a spoon for the first time, because Verenda was so excited to try it. The reaction was priceless. Needless to say we are definitely going to wait a few more months.

Enough about the cute baby... I have finished another semester at BYU, I love it here so much I don't think I should ever graduate!!! I only have one more semester worth of classes and have options of when to graduate. I am taking the summer off to apply to dental school. I send in my online application the first week of June. The AADSAS takes 4-6 weeks to process the paperwork so i have that much time to procrastinate taking the DAT without delaying my application. My GPA is not very high so I am banking on a high DAT score to get me in, so we will have to wait and see what I get. I don't really expect to get in the first go around but it would be awesome if I did. So for now my summer study will just be to prepare for the DAT.

Verenda is headed back to work. We finally blew through all of our savings, and our tax return is still with the IRS after 2 1/2 months, so I am putting her back to work. She is not going back to her same office because they are way to aggressive and money hungry. She put out a few resumes on a friday and by that monday she had interviews at all of the offices. She was offered a job at an office in American Fork with Dr. Pitts that seems to be really nice. Dr. Pitts was a starting lineman at BYU for 3 years and when he didn't get drafted decided to go to dental school. He is a big guy. He is the official dentist for BYU athletics and is super fun and possitive. The practice there is a little smaller than Verenda's old Mega Mall dental office, so it will be a little more layed back. She starts this next week and is only going to work Mondays and Thursdays, which is perfect so that she can bring in a little bacon and still not miss out on baby RyLee's fun adventures.

Allen is going to move in with us for a few weeks before he goes on his study abroad to Europe and Vren is super excited to have her own personal helper. She already has a 10 page list of handy man items that I have not gotten around to that he will be issued. Good luck Allen. He may want to rethink his decision. :)
