Fall Fun and Costume Pix

RyLee was a Bee and I was a Bee Keeper, and RyLee was a LadyBug
We were so excited RyLee had two costumes
RyLee helping mommy unpack her inventory
Grandma came to visit, we love it when Grandma visits
RyLee helping us with our ColdStone Ice Cream
RyLee saw us eating with spoons and kept trying to dip her sample spoon into our ice cream and feed herself. Now if we could only get her to hold her bottle. :|
We love her owl hat! And she loves being outside in the cold. When ever we run to the car in the cold if the wind is blowing she kicks and giggles almost out of our arms.

Trouble Trouble Trouble

RyLee has figured out that her feet are a great asset to her climbing adventures which means she is climbing on top of the barricades we set up to keep her contained. The other day Verenda turned her head for a second and when she looked back RyLee had climbed on top of a big box we use to block the TV cables and the top gave in. All Vren saw was a little head sticking out of the box with a big mischievous grin.
RyLee loves splashing in her bath
RyLee at the park
Rylee dumped all the real food off her tray and though the tray its self looked more tasty. She is always chewing on something. The more rigid the better. Now the she has chompers (4 teeth on top and 2 on bottom with the other 2 peeking thourgh) I call them her little beaver marks.

On the way home from Grandpa and Grandma Wilkersons house RyLee pulled my jacket over head and tried to initiate a Peek-A-Boo game with Verenda. She has never done that before and she loved it. Now she pulls the covers over her head when we try to put her to sleep and whips them down and laughs.

Being 9 Months Old is Sooooooo Fun!

RyLee just had her 9 month check up and....
she is 28.5 inches long and 17lb 5oz.
RyLee is so much fun these days she is always smiling and loves to laugh, she loves it when we chase her and she crawls away giggling as fast as she can. She most likely will walk any time since she has been crawling for 3 months, and she just started to let go of things and stand on her own a bit. She has 6 teeth and loves to eat table food, not baby food, she doesn't like the texture. Anyways she is adorable and we love having her around.
Here are some fun things we have been doing,

This is her modeling on of the cute outfits I sell, she does such a good job, good thing she loves cameras

RyLee's first time in a front facing car seat, my sisters husband took my car seat in his car so we had to borrow her daughters car seat which was a little big but she loved being able to see everything. And yes she is naked its a long story.

Helping Grandpa Wilkerson on the Farm!
My dad has an organic farm and vegetable stand and we go and visit them at
least twice a week, RyLee loves to help grandma sell at the stand and she will always grab a piece of fruit out of one of the baskets and start biting into it. Lets be honest she is very naughty and loves to get into everything all the time

Enjoying my cupcake at cousin Emma's 2nd Birthday Party. We went to a lady Bug birthday party and RyLee mainly ate only the nasty frosting but she looked really cute

Daddy finally finished putting grass in the front yard and I LOVE IT!
We go and sit in our new found grass every evening and it is so nice, and RyLee tries to eat all the leaves she can find.

Mommy and RyLee at Swiss days in Midway UT
Our Lil' Nuggets booth at Swiss Days
I started my own business in April and it has grown alot, I sell all sorts of cute baby girl stuff and some leg warmers for boys that are pretty cute, anyways I do a couple shows a month and it is really fun plus I get lots of cute stuff for RyLee since she is my model for most of my products, she loves it. This was my best show yet.
I LOVE THE SWISS! It was freezing in the mornings and we had to bundle up!
So also this last week Ron got a new position at his work and is going to be in the QA department, I am very proud of him and am so glad he is getting a raise. And with my new business and his new raise I get to quit my job and concentrate on my business and stay home and take care of my babe. Im so excited my last day is on thurs. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7 Months photo dump

We have been neglecting our blog because we keep meaning to get pictures from my phone and Verendas, but I am just going to do a photo dump from my camera. We will do a more detailed post later on.
RyLee loves her bath time!

RyLee got pooped out at Aunt Kathies B-Day party and fell asleep in the swing
RyLee and Valarie on 5-28-2011. Still bigger than us and still has more hair. But we are catching up.
RyLee LOVES my laptop! She freaks out every time we open it and it is all we can do to keep her from climbing ontop of the keyboard and sucking on the screen.
RyLee learned how to splash in the tub and got water all over mommy :)
RyLee and mommy @ Milagros, our favorite mexican place just down the street from us.
Ice cold water + big chubby cheeks = super cute
RyLee and Daddy waking up from a Sunday nap.
This last weekend we played a couples golf tournament with a bunch of friends. Verenda is smashing a bright pink ball off the tee here. V actually did really good and she went up and down from 100+ yards on the ninth hole. So proud.

More to come soon.....

5 months old

It is time again for another blog post. We as a family have had a lot of fun things going on and we decided to post a lot of pictures this time for your viewing pleasure

First we will start with Easter. This was RyLee's first Easter and she had a blast. Vren and I also had fun eating all of RyLee's treats from her basket.

RyLee Helping Dad work on the yard.

RyLee's first thing Easter morning with her first Easter basket.

Cutest Easter bunny ever!

This is my new favorite picture of RyLee. Verenda sends me pictures on my phone almost every morning and I love it. But I especially loved this one.

RyLee got Roseola which I guess is super common. She had a high fever for a few days and got a rash after but pulled through it. I put a cold washcloth on her head to keep her cool when Vren took this super cute pathetic looking picture.

I got courtside tickets to the Utah Flash Basketball game so we took RyLee to her first ever game. She slept through the whole thing.

So I woke up at 7:00am to go to work and started to sneak around the room getting ready without disturbing anyone. I had to do a double take when I noticed that mommy and baby had both struck the same pose in their sleep. I guess there is something to that genetics stuff.

RyLee in her new ladybug outfit

Verenda went back to work 2 days a week and her parents watch our "little nugget" on Thursdays. When Vren went to get her after work last week she was taking a nap on grandpa. It must have been contagious. J

Allen, aka" Uncle Duffus", stayed with us for a few weeks before he went to Austria and Switzerland on his study abroad trip. One day he got the hiccups and every time he walked by and hiccupped, RyLee would crack up laughing.

I organize a weekly golf day at my work where we all get up at 5:30 in the AM and play a quick 9 holes before work. My golf shot of the week is shown above. My ball is stuck in the tree at about elbow height. I have a group of friends that I golf with and we have a few "prizes" we pass around depending on who wins or looses. I lost so as you can see I have a rubber chicken hanging off my bag. L Don't worry I have redeemed myself and passed that "featherless falcon" on to Parker.

Verenda's sister Kathie sells doll clothes at the local boutiques and shows and Verenda is going to try selling with her. We bought a carousel to put in Kathie's booths. Verenda is selling baby/toddler legwarmers of all different patterns with headbands and flowers for the girls

Verenda'

s brother Richard and Dad have a few acres they farm and sell vegetables at their fruit stand and at the farmers market. I helped them plant a few potatoes this year. Verenda's Dad used to be a big potato farmer and so the potatoes go in the ground first, "and the rest can wait" he said.

1/3 Years Old

Well at this rate you all will only hear from us when RyLee reaches another milestone. So just plan on a 6-month, 1-year old, and graduation from high school post. RyLee just had her 4 month check up. Here are the stats: Length 24.5" (70%), Weight 12lb 7oz (25%), Head 40.2 cm (25%). Tall and skinny. In the last 3 days she has learned some new tricks. She finally figured out just how to kick her leg to roll herself over and now she does it every 10 minutes, and tries to flip even when she is sitting in her bouncy chair. Along with her new tummy time she has also learned how to arch her back to hold her head up good when she is on her tummy. Before she would just stare at the carpet.

We tried to give RyLee rice cereal with a spoon for the first time, because Verenda was so excited to try it. The reaction was priceless. Needless to say we are definitely going to wait a few more months.

Enough about the cute baby... I have finished another semester at BYU, I love it here so much I don't think I should ever graduate!!! I only have one more semester worth of classes and have options of when to graduate. I am taking the summer off to apply to dental school. I send in my online application the first week of June. The AADSAS takes 4-6 weeks to process the paperwork so i have that much time to procrastinate taking the DAT without delaying my application. My GPA is not very high so I am banking on a high DAT score to get me in, so we will have to wait and see what I get. I don't really expect to get in the first go around but it would be awesome if I did. So for now my summer study will just be to prepare for the DAT.

Verenda is headed back to work. We finally blew through all of our savings, and our tax return is still with the IRS after 2 1/2 months, so I am putting her back to work. She is not going back to her same office because they are way to aggressive and money hungry. She put out a few resumes on a friday and by that monday she had interviews at all of the offices. She was offered a job at an office in American Fork with Dr. Pitts that seems to be really nice. Dr. Pitts was a starting lineman at BYU for 3 years and when he didn't get drafted decided to go to dental school. He is a big guy. He is the official dentist for BYU athletics and is super fun and possitive. The practice there is a little smaller than Verenda's old Mega Mall dental office, so it will be a little more layed back. She starts this next week and is only going to work Mondays and Thursdays, which is perfect so that she can bring in a little bacon and still not miss out on baby RyLee's fun adventures.

Allen is going to move in with us for a few weeks before he goes on his study abroad to Europe and Vren is super excited to have her own personal helper. She already has a 10 page list of handy man items that I have not gotten around to that he will be issued. Good luck Allen. He may want to rethink his decision. :)
